Wooden Spoon game pairing decided
2010-03-16 11:53 author: Mézes CsabaThe teams have played 4 games each, and for 2 of them this CEE Rugby Cup season is over. However, the last two will line up for one last showdown to decide on the Wooden Spoon.
Last season Dragon sweeped Donau 50-0 in Brno
Donau Wien managed to score a couple of tries this season, and also they have collected their first point in the Cup, but with 4 losses out of 4 games, they will be the "host" of the Wooden Spoon game on June 5th in Budapest.
Dragon Brno had a couple of fierce and close games, but after a draw and a losing bonus against Bulldogok, they collected only 3 points in the pool stage. They were very close to an upset against Timisoara, but finally they have only one more point to prove - they deserve to be one step from above.
